The fate of Brexit will be decided in the next two weeks – Forex
As the uk's expected date for Britain's exit from the European Union approaches, the timetable for Brexit preparations becomes more and more dense. During this period, the active process of negotiations in Brussels on the conclusion of the deal continues, Bloomberg reports. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his intention to withdraw the country from the EU on October 31 with or without a deal. At the same time, a law passed by the lower house of the British Parliament obliges Johnson, in the absence of a deal, to ask the EU to postpone the exit until January 31 next year. At the meeting of EU leaders in Brussels on October 17-18, the deal can be approved or, if an agreement is not reached, the issue of another Brexit postponement will be considered. If the deal is approved, a "technical" delay to Brexit may be necessary for final paperwork. After the EU summit, the British parliament may meet on Saturday 19 October for a weekend meeting for the first time since the early 1980s to decide on the next steps to leave the EU. Analysts believe that if The UK is granted a reprieve to leave the union, another summit of European leaders may be required.
